5.0 out of 5 stars A nice cheap set of triggers that consistently work., 17 Nov 2011

I bought these triggers just over a year ago, and in all that time they've continued to work for me nicely. I use them to either fire a pair of studio strobes, or a Canon Speedlite 430 EX-II wirelessly.

Nothing to fault them on really, they feel a little "plasticy" but both the triggers and the receivers have been dropped a few times and managed to survive intact.

I've never had a miss-fire and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rather impresses, 30 July 2011
This review is from: PT-04A 2 in 1 Radio Wireless Flash & Studio Trigger x 3 Receivers for Nikon Canon Pentax,Olympus Systems (Electronics)
well i bought this as i had read it was compatible with the Nissin Di866 providing you have done the firmware upgrade.
Ive only gave it 4 stars as it does not come with instructions, so you have to figure it out yourself.

The flashlight has to be on manual mode for it to work, I use this wih my Nikon D5000 and you just place the transmitter on the top of the camera and away you go.
No additional wires needed to the camera, but make sure the channels are set the same. Ive not tested the range but ive had a quick go and it works a treat.

The build quality is good and it works well with old school film camera flashes also.

very pleased with it so far and cant wait to get some creative flash photography going.

what i would say is the receivers really need a stand or tripod on them to keep them stable as you dont get anything with these.

These are a must for studio photography, never run the risk of lights firing out of sync again! These work great with my strobe lights and my Nissin flash unit (I figured out it must be to set to Manual mode, NOT slave). Really am very pleased with my purchase and I'll be guarenteed to never miss a shot because of lighting again!
