And why would you want to? Seems like a lovely and surreal place to live! Unlike the last compilation, this is all instrumental with cute little spoken narration, as our guide - who sounds like he's from the Mighty Boosh - takes us for a day trip around the Island. This is far more ambient in sound, and I think most - if not all - the pieces are contemporary, though there is still a retro feel. It even features Amorphous Androgynous, which is great. There is a definite Psychedelic Bubble around at the moment, and I think the Island can be found firmly at its centre. I'm glad that this series has moved on from the first compilation, however I love The Sounds of Monsterism Island vol 1 so much, that I'm a bit disappointed that there are no more similar obscure songs to be discovered here. Yes this has a different mood than vol 1, but it's bright, breezy, funny, gently psychedelic and odd, and works well as part of the series to describe life on the Island. I really hope there will be more! ^_^

Not my cup of Psychedic tea really. There are some gems I admit and around half way through things get more into my kind of groove.
Too much noodling about on anologue equipment for the sake of being weird and experimental?
Love the art work and the concept but I only transferred 5 or so tracks on to my ipod...

Marvelous range of music from reeling funky jazzy rock with only hints of that magic word psychedelia, to full blown electronic trance, all mind warping and intricate yet at the same time subdued and chilled, relaxing. All in all this collection of sounds is one wild/dreamy ride, so enjoy it!

while this comp may appeal to some, the psychadelic tag is a bit of a misnomer. mostly it's electronic music, a good thing to know for those who might be thrown off by the inclusion of greats like wolf people. their track is a great instrumental that jibes with their other releases, and it does sort of fit into the narrative of music here as a whole, but for those of you expecting fuzzy guitars and 60s era psyche, don't buy this. it's basically mellow house music or some other electronic genre which i neither know how to label or care much about.
