Hey there again was just reading bf4 nutter sq last posts lol don't worry Warchild i will be starting off with engineer class for a while first on bf4 so no one blows up suddenly next to me;)

looks like there is no shortage of people wanting to join the carnage should be good fun and i read Chaos's post about the homeplugs to be honest other than buying a long ethernet cable and connecting it up i would'nt know what i am doing anyway lol so will stick with wireless as i said for now.

perhaps you could check out the blast radius on C4 on the website you found then when time comes we should know how far to stand out of Troopers way lol;)

I really wouldn`t feel much safer, knowing you had RPG`s in your hands instead of C4, Trooper...lol

In BF3, C4 was great for trolling Campers...the house in the square on Seine Crossing, used to always be a constant battle over who camped in it..it was great when you went in and cleared the occupants, then stuck C4 in the stairwells...waited till they came rushing back after respawning and when they came in the doors...BOOM!! heh *Multikill* :P
Or tossing the C4 out the wrecked windows when you saw players running towards the entrance...KABOOM!

I`m glad to see the Recon class is more like Spec Ops in BF4, with carbines and C4, think it`s gonna be fun playing Recon again :D

Symthic hasn`t got that data up yet Trooper, I guess you could go into no-mans land and try detonating a few while we watch ;)

lol @trooper's blast radius curiosity :) :)

homeplugs are so easy just plug them into a plug socket -

1 plug by your router
1 plug by your PS4
and a ethernet cable into each plug and bingo your all up and running

In reply to an earlier post on 4 Nov 2013 17:03:06 GMT
THE TROOPER says:
haha gotta watch those C4 ;) thanks for the info re the home plugs so you still need to run a ethernet cable from router to ps4 though right? even with the plugs.

Posted on 4 Nov 2013 17:11:09 GMT
Nick says:
plug an ethernet cable into your PS4 then into the homeplug then plug the other ethernet cable in the other homeplug then into your router then plug both homeplugs into a plug socket not an extension lead then your electricity ring main transfers your broadband anywhere in your house ;)

Many thanks chaos i will prob's give it a try so in effect you would only need two short ethernet cables and the homeplugs to rig it up.

The link you left on the bf4 nutter thread is for buying the homeplugs only (if i'm right) so i will see if ebay or someone has the ethernet cables just need to work out the length.

ahh well i just checked the homeplugs £63.00 each guess i will be wireless for now then thanks anyway for the info;)

Nick says:
both links i posted come with 2 x ethernet cables included so you wont need to buy anything else

1 link is for 2 x homeplugs & 2 x ethernet cables and the other link is exactly the same 2 x homeplugs & 2 x ethernet cables but also has the ability for a plug to be plugged in the back as well to allow you to also plug an extension cable or another product tv, PS4 etc ;)

hope that clarifies it a bit for you mate

Found you :) So my BF noob questions,if I was the gunner in an attack chopper and you were flying what would I control, the directional machine guns? Also, have a good idea what all game types are from playing Modern Warfare except for Rush, what game type is that?

Check out the footage of Chaboyy in an attack helicopter - http://bf4gameplay.com/bf4-attack-helicopter-gunner-setup-battlefield-4-gameplaycommentaryalphae3-2/
As far as I know you would have control of the mini-gun and rockets :)

Rush is faster paced than Conquest and can actually be more fun.

I`ll let the Wiki give a clearer explanation than what I`d probably type out ;)

Rush is an objective game mode where two teams face each other to attack or defend several M-COM Stations. There will be two M-COM Stations that need defending or attacking at various sections of the map.

Defenders must defend the M-COM Stations until the other team runs out of "respawn tickets." This means the defenders must kill the attacker's and force them to respawn 75 times to win the game. The attackers can revive their teammates so they don't lose a respawn ticket.

Attackers start out at a deployment location and must move forward to the base of the defenders. Each base has two M-COM Stations, and the attackers need to blow up both to move forward to the next site. Depending on the map, there may be a total of three or four bases to move through. Each time the attackers move up, their respawn tickets will reset back to the original number (See each map's page for Respawn Tickets). If the attackers destroy all M-COM stations, they win the match.

I`m thinking when we get our PS4/BF4, if anyone wants we could start a Platoon? Call it Amazon Hit Squad or whatever ;)
It`s easy to start one on the Battlefield.com website once you have your account registered.
It would mean we could keep track of each other ingame as you have a tag next to your name, with your platoon abbreviation on it. i.e AHS or whatever.

It`s hard to explain unless you have used the Battlefield site.
For anyone wondering what the heck I`m on about, you can check my PS3 one for Bf3 @ http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/War-Childz-/stats/892664199/ps3/
I`ve not played much BF3 on PS3, being primarily on Xbox 360, so ignore the stats :P
Platoons can be created from this page, all your stats viewed, weapon loadouts chosen, friends stats viewed and message them etc.
On our Platoon page, you could leave messages and view your other platoon members stats/match results etc. easily.

If folks are interested in having a Platoon, we could create it at some point down the line.
It`s not the same as a Clan. There would be no requirements to play matches or rules, just an easy way to keep track of all our "Soldiers" ;)

Rush sounds like chaos..............and alot of fun, sounds a bit like search and destroy in Modern warfare series?
Will check out the video, will definetly head for the test range to try to get my pilots licence:)
I know BF is all about multiplayer but apparently the single player game has three endings, each ending unlocking a different weapon in MP?
Read a lot on here about people using rocket launchers, certainly up for that while tank busting;)

Yeah it`s a bit like that gess, but the attacking team must detonate the M-coms to win where as in Search and Destroy you could just eliminate the other team as well, I think?
It can be very chaotic...Rush on the Operation Metro map in BF3 was nicknamed the "meatgrinder" because the attacking team would have to advance later, along narrow subway tunnels, while the defenders would have their snipers and light machine guns on bipods, setup away at the back of the tunnels.
If the defenders were good, the attacking team could easily be torn to shreds...over and over...lol

I think Operation Locker in BF4 might be similar to Metro :D
That's news for me about the SP endings...cheers for that. Sounds intriguing...wonder what ending unlocks what weapon...hmmm.
RPG`s are definitely a god send in Conquest for dealing with Armor, Aircraft or Boats. A lot less hair raising than having to run after a tank and stick some C4 on the back then detonate it lol - though that is a major adrenalin rush..
I heard Vehicles are a bit overpowered at the moment..

@ Jamie - I`ll probably get either Killzone or AC Black Flag as well, leaning more towards Killzone though :)

lmao @ Trooper...Mystic Meg with an RPG ;)

Level Cap mentions the MP unlocks from single player here....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxxKgXWf0q0
Watched the chopper gunner vid, seen it before but must've been concentrating on the flying skills more than the gunner ;)
As for Jamie,my other games at launch are FIFA and Killzone, enjoyed MP in KZ2+3 but will be putting more time in to BF4 MP!
