I tried to use this paint to tank a cellar that I have converted into a workshop.

After rendering the walls with mortar and a PVA waterproofer added I managed to reduce the water getting into the cellar to damp patches. I then thought that I'd try this paint over the top of the render to see if it would keep the walls dry. It performed reasonably well, but started to let some water through after it had rained heavily outside - which would have greatly increased the pressure of the water trying to get into the cellar.

In the end I painted over the walls with Isoflex - a liquid rubber used for roofing - which did the trick and has prevented any water coming in.

So this is a good quality paint, but probably only suitable if you know that there will not be a great deal of pressure in the water you're trying to keep out.
