Firstly, i would like to say i will try my hardest to put my obvious bias towards prodigy aside (Underrated and the hardest since BIG left)

I bought this album of the back of the incredible HNIC pt 2. Product of the 80's is a compilation mixtape/album with Big Twinz and Un Pacino surpporting. It has a different sound 2 his previous album strayin from alchemist based beats and political content, but overall the album flows like a good album should.

Track that stand out include "Waddup Gz", "Stop Stressin" and "Am i Crazy" the only track that disrupts the listen is "Anytime" If you are a Prodigy fan you will appreciate the album bearing in mind he wont be released from prison until 2011.

Simple get this..u never need an excues to got a Prodigy mix tape and this is no exeption. 6 tracks in and i am hooked on them beats all of them not your average rap by the numbers forgettable throw away crap, add Prodigy's flow and dark delivery the pure menece of at all is enough to keep you ticking over until he drops a studio album, though i prefer the mix tapes as he has sole control of the output as an independent and its generaly darker.

The high point is that theres not even any one particular track thats stands out, its not all murder rap you can hear they have grown with a mature out look some concious elements in there so its not all been there done that. Its more grown men rapping about experiences and fantasies about things they wished the could do without being looked up as oppsosed to kids postering on how bad the are or on a HYPE!!
dont get me wrong its not all (common) esq more the infamous mobb deep way of concious......

Twin Gambino and Un pichino feat heavy on the mixtape never letting down the side hammering home the point reminding us that there not bookends the whole team is strong with the H.N.I.C leading the assult.

Some tracks may be slow burners for some but listen on because when it catches youn in the right mood you will be tumping from your car strero happy that the variaty of tracks puts you in a differnt place.

Mobb rap always delevers you wont be disapointed get this

THE BEST GANGSTA MUSIC BY FAR 24 Oct 2008
By Jordan Kumi - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is the best gangsta music ever. The best beats ever, and it has the best eastcoast rappers in the game. This is real nigga music. Mobb Deep and Infamous Mobb are the hardest rappers. This CD is so grimy, dark and hardcore it kills everything out right now.

Infamous Shines... 23 Oct 2008

B+. Hot album. Beats are hit or miss but lyrical skills are ill. P-dolo upped his rhyme game. Big Twins is grimier as usual and Un's lyrical flow is dope. !STAMP IT!

For the fiends... 24 Oct 2008
By dunnzoola - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Thru and thru a really dope record. P narrates with impeccable style and partners in crime, Twin & Un fill in the blanks with heavy metal support. The rugged beats are the highlight of the project though, delivering that goosebump music on every song. All of the em are bangers in their own right but my favorites
1) "Catch Body Music"- P spits over videogame and 808s in trademark swagger
2) "In The Smash" - already classic, one of the best beats of the last couple years
3) "waddup Gz" - anthemic, some of P's illest verses of all time
4) "Testtube Babies" - insane flow and content over an insane Sid Roams beat

Thank QB that records like this can still be made and are around every once in awhile to remind us what the tradition is about. It aint for everybody, but if you a fiend for that deep NY sound, this is it...
