We are very pleased with this purchase, the heater is small and lightweight, but gives the same heat as our old "much bigger" version. This is ideal for when we are caravanning to use in our awning on chilly evenings. It warms instantly and the safety switch underneath means we are not worried about it falling over.

This is a good value heater which does what it says on the tin. This type of heater is only good for sitting in front of, rather than a room warmer but gives effective instant heat (and a fair amount of light). The light is a bit too bright when fully on 1200w but typical of this style of heater. My only complaint is that the instructions says not to use it with an extension cable, but the cable attached to the heater is not long enough to reach a power point (not where I want to use it anyway!) which is a bit silly, but I suspect that the guidance is meant to protect manufacturer against any and all comebacks. Anyway it works fab with an extension cable!! The oscillating feature is marvellous, making it easier to share the heat.

Brought this item for a prezzie for parents. It's used to quickly take the chill from a room as they don't have central heating. They are very happy with it, it does exactly what it says, it's cheap to run and better still has a nice cozy glow, also it is very quiet as some of these heaters are rather noisy. Speedy delivery too. If you are thinking of buying one of these then this is the one for you.

Economy heater
