I don't like red so much, especially fire engine red, It reminds me of people who overcompensate for their other.. lacks. Also it clashes with my other junk, but that's a personal preference.
The tech specs on this mouse are what sold it; swiftly changeable dpi stepping that you choose, good macro setup, along with colour coded profiles, lift focus, and no meaningless pinky buttons.
there are other nice details, the cords light, long and encased in nice slippy nylon, and the feet are bonded ceramic, not crappy teflon that eventually falls off.
the price is a little steep,
but its cheaper and far better than a lot of other so-called gaming mice that are all hype and very little substance (I'm looking at you, razor)
At the end of the day, when this one eventually dies, I'm probably getting another one, or fixing this one.
