Bought this to connect laptop to TV to allow us to watched downloaded programmes on the tv rather than squinting at small laptop screen. Cable excellent, in the past we bought one from another site and it was the wrong type. Easy to use,need sound cable too. Long length means laptop can be across room from tv (5m long), so much better than some types. Works fine which is the main thing!
