This is an absolute gem. Ed has practical experience of seeing whole Cities turn to Jesus, so he is more than qualified to tackle the subject of prayer evangelism. If you are serious about claiming your city for Jesus then get this book.

Ed has loads of experience in praying for cities over the world, this experience makes this book a great book, encouraging the reader in Praying for their city, and taking it for God. A must for people with a heart for their town, city or neighbourhood.

If your heart beats with love for the lost, but you've grown discouraged by the increasing lawlessness in our cities, this is the book for you. This is a follow-up to Silvoso's other book, That None Should Perish. The two books are a double-barrel shotgun aimed at the enemy, and I recommend you buy both. As you read, you'll see the manner in which the early apostles reached every person in Asia with the Gospel. It's not only possible, but it's happening in various cities around the world. Your faith will rise and your heart will fill with a new understanding of God's grace and love for the lost. My life has not been the same since I read about prayer evangelism. Already I have begun to see fruit in my life by applying the concepts Silvoso has clearly (and simply) laid out.

I have been involved with evangelism in my church for many years but this book opened my mind to how to offensively win the world to Christ. The biggest thing I got out of it was how to win people to Christ based out of Luke 10:5,8,9.

1) Speak peace to them
2) Fellowship with them
3) Take care of their needs
4) Proclaim the "Good News"

A lot of times we do this backwards. Well worth a read to think differently about winning the world to Christ.
