I'm an asthmatic and bought this to help my breathing. If you use this regularly it will work for you. I used to get a bit out of breath after 20+ lengths of the pool but can easily do 40 now. Only problem is I get bored, need to invest in a waterproof MP3 player!!

this is a great easy to use device to improve your lung function. has helpd me with running and cycling, buut needs to be used twice a day for any benefit, would recommend it for anyone with breathing difficulties duriing exercise

I've struggled with mild asthma for years, I excercise, run a little and do some weights. I bought this to try to reduce the need for my steroid inhaler. This works amazingly! OK yes it is a little hard initially as its working the breathing muscles - but after only a weekPOWERbreathe Classic Medium Resistance (Fitness) my lung capacity has increased and I'm not wheezing as much or taking shallow breaths. I can definitely recommend this
