At the price, I reasonably expected a fairly flimsy piece of kit. Boy was I surprised when it arrived and I had it assembled and working! It cuts very accurately. The rip fence is solid as a rock and the motor is well capable of handling anything I have required it to do so far.

Would I recommend it to anyone? Damned right I would, especially at the price.

Why just 4 stars? I would like to see a third table extension supplied, but that's just me being picky - I've made one myself now and I'm happy as Larry with what I have for such a small sum of money..

I specifically purchased this saw based.on previous customer reviews. The saw arrived within 2 days of purchase from the supplier. I bought the saw to primarily to cut mahogany stair parts and I have to say the des patched 100mm x 100mm Nepal posts with ease. The saw is well constructed and feels robust when in use. My only critisism is the assembly instructions for the saw stand. They are in my opinion very limited in content and information. I am an engineer by trade and it took me an hour to assemble the stand however that said the stand is very stable. I would recommend this saw to prospective buyers.

the saw was easily assembled. It cuts very well. But the guide rail lets it down badly. It is bang on at one end but it can move as much 30 mm at the other end.Resulting in useless tapered cuts. The manufacturers should modify this fault by securing guide on both ends of the table.

It is a very basic Bench Saw but for the money well worth it. Good for amateur usage, not sure how long it would stand up to constant professional use, but then again professionals wouldn't choose this. Assembly instructions are useless just look at the picture on the box, takes about 3/4 hour to put together. Overall I'm quite impressed.

They say you should get the cheapest possible tool until you know why you need a more expensive one. This is pretty much the cheapest you would want to go, even with a starter table saw. It has a few issues, which I'll mention, but it is absurdly low priced for what it is.

The biggest negative is that the table itself is made from a very thin metal, and so when you bring the blade back to 90 degrees, it can push up on the table, bending it enough that the fence won't lie flat. It needs a bit of practise to get it to 90 without bending the table. I used a square and a magnetic angle measuring tool, and it's still tricky to be sure that it is at 90. Mostly because of problem 2.
Problem 2: The blade is not held in place firmly enough, and has up to a millimetre of play, especially when there is an uneven force (Such as shaving a very small amount off one side of a piece of wood.) and you may find yourself needing to shave small extra amounts because of the lack of precision of the fence.
Problem 3: The fence sits on the table, but the rounded base makes it hard to cut thinner plywood, as it tends to try and creep under the fence.
Problem 4: The overhead vacuum attachment fits onto the riving knife (this is a blade behind the saw blade that stops wood from pinching on the blade, and also helps reduce the risk of kickback.) While the knife is a great feature, sadly it is higher than the blade, and not easily removed. So if you want to use the saw to cut a groove, you can't, as the knife will push the wood up almost immediately. This rules out cutting tenons, grooves, dados, and quite a lot of the functionality you'd want from a saw like this.
Problem 5: The mitre attachment is much looser than the slot in the table. So loose that it is basically useless.

Mine came labelled as 1800watt but the same model number? If you are looking for precision then save a bit more and buy up market a bit. My criticisms are that the table top is not very level at any point and in fact has a lump about 2 inches to the left of the blade making anything wider rise up. The blade due to the uneven top is almost impossible to set at 90 degrees, one side will show 90 but the other not ?. The fence is not bad but I always measure to get accuracy, having said that rail for the fence has been bashed at the right side and the fence will not sit straight. Forget the dust collection for longer pieces as it gets in the way. Good points it has two mitre slots and I have made a sled (with a grove to compensate for the lump which I will probably grind off ), oh yeah, forget the mitre attatchment as it is too loose, the reiving knife slides down below the top of the blade allowing through cuts and grooves, it is also easy to remove. The blade rise and fall and angle work well. It could be a very good table with very little effort on the manufacturers part particularly regarding the top, and quality control ! Three stars as it is ok for rough work but not precision. Oh yeah the stand is sturdy but tricky.

Construction a little flimsy, but machine has not refused any task to date - assembly instructions poor, but pictures on the box more help!
Supplier very good, quick delivery and a very quick resolution of problem and repacement of the two missing parts.
Would recomment this supplier.
