I chose this product in particular because of the phrase "ultra quiet" in its description. However, I noticed when it arrived that there is no mention of this on the packaging or documentation and, having made a subjective judgement and compared it with another fan heater I own, in my view it is certainly not particularly quiet. I wanted to use it in a living room where I listen to music, watch TV etc and the noise it makes is obtrusive - not louder than other fan heaters, I suppose, but not quiet as claimed. In other respects it is satisfactory.

such accurate descriptions are few and far between nowadays but this 'easy to use portable fan heater 1000w/2000w ultra quiet' is spookily accurate. it is indeed 'easy to use' it is indeed 'portable' unless of course you're a three month old child , but that's co-ordination as much as anything , i digress , 'fan heater' undoubtedly ,i'm not sure about the '1000W/2000W' business but i'm sure it's worth it , and then we have the piece de resistance 'ultra quiet'!!!! i've absolutely no doubt there have been people who have sent this appliance back because they've been expecting some noise ,possibly a kind of muted roar , as a kind of reassurance that the appliance they've just purchased makes a noise at the very least , and if it throws heat at them , well , that's a bonus . this little beauty is indeed 'ultra quiet' for the deaf or hard of hearing . for myself it's just quiet . but then i can hear a coin hit a pavement three streets away .
