Amazon Verified Purchase
I fitted this to my old pc which only had USB 1.1 It couldn't have been easier. Open the box, push the card in to the slot, secure with one screw, close the box, switch on and hey presto you have 4 USB2 ports all working. Not quite sure why the 5th port is internal, not much use to most people. I happened to have a 0.5 meter extension lead which I connected to this port and fed to the outside of the case so I now have 5 usable ports.
To sum up, excellent product, thoroughly recommend especially at that price!

This USB PCI card didn't work in my windows 7 64 bit computer. It got the windows 7 drivers okay to start with, but didn't work. Then it said the Via Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller is not working properly. It crashed my computer twice & windows shut itself down twice to protect itself, because of problems with this PCI card adapter in windows 7 64 bit. I tried uninstalling drivers, rebooting several times, troubleshooting, using Microsoft's Mr Fixit & couldn't get it to work. Don't buy one if you've got a windows 7 64 bit computer.

Doesn't work on win 7 64 bit. Ram stick seems to work but gets !error! with anything else. Returning it pronto.

Good quality for a low price
Well made little adapter with well soldered good quality connectors should give trouble free service.
