I bought this to replace ATI Radeon 9250SE in my Philips MT2100 as I was upgrading to Window 7 from XP Home with 1GB of RAM. The Windows 7 upgrade checker indecated the the old card would not support the Areo function thus the need to up-grade the card.
As this is an older machine I could only choose from cards with a AGP interface. Looking at all the cards and with my computer having a power supply of 300 Watts this card looke a good fit.
I don't use it for gaming just watching movies, web, music and office functionality.
Movies play as clearly and smoothy as they do through a up-scaling stand alone DVD player.
If you run multiple aplications at the same time the video image may freeze momentaraly but I think that is the processor/RAM not the graphics card
The card does not have a fan so it is totaly silent
It installed with out any problem with Windows 7 recognising it upgrading it to the latest drivers
So for the money I can't find fault with it. 4 stars as you can buy a better card but you would spend more money and it would have to be compatible with the other components in your machine

Wanted a good cheapish quiet video card to upgrade an older PC. Used mainly for business and home, and a few simple games; nothing flash. Exactly what I wanted, at a reasonable price, with very good delivery. This card and some extra memory transform the PC into one I can use for the near-to-middle future. Claims to run Windows 7 if I want/need to upgrade to that.

I purchased this product to replace an Ati Radeon 9250 which I had used on my machine. Consequent to my upgrade to Vista Ultimate, I found that I did not have support for the Radeon 9250 - which meant that I could not get the machine to perform certain tasks like Home Cinema etc. But while upgrading I found that I needed one with an AGP interface and therefore, I upgraded to Geforce 6 6200 with a 512mb memory and AGP interface and this has support for Vista and therefore performing very well.
However I have used it only for a month now and am happy with it. Hope it keeps its reputation in the long term.

Very easy to fit
The upgrade video card was very easy to fit and my computer recognised it straight away. It is providing a clear picture with bright colours. Worth the money
