Ignore the first review! This mount is solid and easy to fit. If you're looking for a ceiling mount without spending crazy money look no further...
I have an Epson EB-6X and I fitted it to the mount easily. Yes, if you have a hollow ceiling you will need to buy separate fixings but these will cost a few pounds max.
Remember to tighten the adjustment nut...or you will have the same problems as the first reviewer!

It's a bit basic and clunky but it does work. For my Optoma HD200X, the arms that you can see spreading out in the picture are far too far apart and I had to make them all point inwards - but they do fit the Optoma. I didn't have to make any changes to it. The mounts on the projector are only M3, which makes it feel flimsy, and if the arms were extended as shown in the picture, I'd be worried about the amount of leverage applied to such small screws. I have to confess that at the moment, I'm checking the mounting every week for evidence of any movement. Looks smart enough with my projector although the large circular plate was damaged on receipt. Other reviews I have read suggest that many mountings "creep" - I haven't had a problem with this.

This is a smart looking and well priced ceiling mount, and it works fine so long as you don't mind that there is a bit of play in between the 2 bits that slide in and out to adjust the length (if you will forgive the technical terms)which makes it quite hard to do fine adjustment of its position.

this item was very cheap (great value for money), arrived very quickly after purchase, was easy to install with very good instructions and "does exactly what it says on the tin".
