Three books in one great package - Exceptional value. Best YA humorous fantasy and one of the Top humorous books on Amazon!

PLOB

Sometimes the only way to fight Evil is to simply go to work every day and do your job. Plob - Reetworthy Plob - Reetworthy Plob the Third - was doing just that. And it's proving to be more difficult than picking his nose with his elbow. What with attempting to restore his Grandfather's good name, learn the words of the Beer, Beer, Beer song and battle constantly with his testosterone fuelled fantasies - he hardly has any time left to save the world.

But Bill the Plumber is on the loose and someone has to stop him...and that someone just happens to be Plob, with a little help from a psychotic barmaid, a master magician, a cabbie, an accountant and a Trogre with fists the size of a wheelbarrow.

Plob - it's funnier than the plague, shorter than the bible and cheaper than the Mona Lisa.

PLOB goes South

Plob is back - and so is his arch nemesis, Typhon the Dark. And now the Big T is playing for keeps. It’s world domination time and once again the only one that can stand in his way is the teenage magician Plob and his master, Smegly. But they do have some help in the shape of the British and the Australian secret service, some giants, a cockerel and the infamous hobby-horsemen of the Hors-doovrees.

But will it be enough - because this time Typhon has something up his sleeve in the form of a battalion of Nazi Storm troopers courtesy of the 3rd Reich. So Heil Typhon and prepare for another serving of white-hot comedy from the best selling fantasy author Craig Zerf.

PLOB fights back

Plob the teenage magician, Master Smegly, Typhon the dark, Dragons, talking trees, goblins and - Winston Churchill??

Yes, Plob is back to save us once again and this time things got even harder. No expense has been spared with a cast of - lots and lots - space ships, time travel, Spitfires and girls in skin-tight leather. All in miraculous 2D format.

Craig Zerf continues his drive to provide the planet with the best of comedic fantasy with the next irrepressible instalment of the adventures of the beloved Plob.

˃˃˃ Award winning author...Chosen by London Radio BBC 4 as a "BEST READ".

TOM HOLT - I thought it was great fun, and I found the end really rather moving. Great stuff.

SF CROWSNEST - Craig Zerf is inflated with invention and well-endowed with wit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic - comedy with a real plot! 5 Jan. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The Plob books are nothing like any comedy fantasy I have read before. Plob is a wizard in training and really can do magic, his master is even more powerful. The dragons really do fly and spit fire, the warriors really can fight, the maidens are all beautiful and have proper personalities, the evil characters really are merciless, cruel and, err, evil. Just like any other fantasy book. Now imagine the story as it might be told by a stand-up comic on a boozy Saturday night in your local pub, with constant asides, characters and places with silly names, lashings of toilet humour. Now you've got some idea what the Plob trilogy is like. But only some idea, you have to experience it to understand it. I'm glad I did!

5.0 out of 5 stars A new comic hero 14 Nov. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Plob is great. Biggest is better. But the pick of comedy heroes must be - Stanley. No spoiler alerts here, so I won't tell you who is who and why. But trust me...this is comic gold. Not only is the genre itself pulled apart with vigour, so are current day politics, political awareness and...ummm...other things. Buy it, read it and read it some more...it's quite long - over six hundred pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Three books of escape 4 Nov. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
and having finished the first, was easily pleased to be able to continue the saga at the press of a page button.
I did laugh openly at some points and was relieved to find, when looking around, I was at home and not in a Doctors waiting room surrounded by people to Ill to have humour.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five stars all the way 21 Feb. 2014
By Madhur
Format:Kindle Edition
Knockout humour from the king of the fantasy comedy genre. Little wonder that Plob won the BBC vote and the Golgonooza award. This is funny man Craig Zerf at his very best. I have actually seen him speak before at the Barclay's Story Festival in London and he was funny there even though the subject that he spoke about was very serious.. He has a unique way of looking at life from a slightly skewed angle that leaves you feeling a little out of kilter. A big man with an even bigger sense of humour, he is a little like the travelling bards of old. A man with sword and lute travelling the badlands and bring entertainment wherever he goes. These books are a real treat and for this price it as almost criminal not to buy them.

I can’t think of enough similes for the word Humour. Zerf is all of them, Funny, hilarious, amusing, comedic, droll, witty, and so much more. Through some insight and some heavy-handed social commentary and you have a trilogy of thoroughly entertaining good fun novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars One good, two better, three best 19 Feb. 2014
By Cheryl
Format:Kindle Edition
Zerf’s Plob books get better and better. You can see the author growing in stature as you read this trilogy. Funny, witty and acerbic these books are a must read. I have noticed a couple of low star ratings (not many) and must assume that Plob is a Love or Hate thing. Either that or some people have had a tragic Sense of Humour lobotomy! Please keep the flow of funny going. Bring on the next trilogy ASAP.

5.0 out of 5 stars An IQ test 19 Feb. 2014
By Danny
Format:Kindle Edition
Craig Zerf’s Plob books are a bit of a test of intelligence. If you get the jokes and the obvious clichés that have been thrown into the mix in order to poke fun…well, then you will find these books hilarious. However, if you miss the point and look on these novels as a serious work of fantasy – well, more fool you. I am a huge fan and cannot wait until the next book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just one word - Dross 10 May 2014
By J. Kent
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I started this book and thought I could actually find it funny. Having read the reviews of others I thought it's worth a look. However after struggling to page 189 of 12000 on my android I said just why am I wasting my time reading this. None of it made any sense.I am a Hitchhiker fan and thought it would be in the same vein but how wrong I was.. It made no sense to me what was happening or was going to happen and where we were going. I could not fathom out who the characters were and what was the plot.. This is the first book I have ever read that I believe to be a waste of paper. I won't be buying the next 3.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amusing and entertaining.
It got of to a slow start but once I got into the characters it became an entertaining and amusing fantasy tale. I will be reading the rest of the books in the series in time.

This is not a badly written book and I think within it's genre (as shown by the other reviews and awards) it is considered to be rather good. Read more
