I got this one because my original PS3 controllers analogue sticks are giving up but are not fully dead yet, So I bought this, now when I got it it arrived pretty fast, but the build quality is not the best, it is basically same as the PS3 controller with a few down sides. One is that the triggers feel to cheaply designed, not robust it seems like they going to fall off, but the buttons and other parts are really good. Now the main thing which struck me was that the R1 R2, L1 and L2 buttons swapped sides! So basically say your playing GTA4 and R2 is to accelerate in a car well now its actually R1 in this case, same with any other game, BFBC2 R1 is to shoot nope R2 is if you got this controller. SO it's pretty obvious it's not made well.

I contacted the seller and I got a new one the second day (I kept the other one as they said) very pleased with the quick response, however this time everything worked fine except my GTA4 game, unfortunately I could not shoot, GTA4 needs the trigger to be firmly pushed down, I think these controllers are not well made.

However I was not bothered as I could change controller settings in GTA4 yet again since I am also PC gamer these game useful to me on the PC. Overall if your a PS3 heavy gamer this is not the option, no you want the Sony Official Controllers.

Now no one expects much from a controller so cheap. Sure it isn't wireless or doesn't have sixaxis. You can get over that at this price. It feels decent in the hand almost identical to the official pad to hold, and the buttons feel solid and responsive enough, although they lack the smooth action of the official one. which is surprising for such a cheap controller. On first inspection it feels like you got a great bargain. But please read on!

You can even forgive the cheap plastics and the stiff analogue sticks which, feel very much like the ps2 dual shock controllers sticks. The biggest complaint, and this is a big complaint. The L2 and R2 triggers aren't analogue. For a ps3 controller even one of this price this is unacceptable, and makes the controller unfit for its purpose, and basically useless. It makes a good portion of games unplayable, or at least very hard to play. So many games now do different functions depending on how far you press the triggers in. (for example gta 4 will free aim if its pressed slightly and lock on to a target if its held) You may just about get away with it as a second controller, but the poor sap using it will likely accuse you of cheating. But unless you're absolutely broke, I wouldn't waste my money and order something a little more expensive. I ordered it as a replacement for my dual shock 3 which gave up the fight for life. Since I couldnt really afford another I decided to give this a go. What a mistake!

Also a little advice to the sellers. I would stop increasing the price, as people will be far more annoyed with this junk, and much more likely to complain, at this rate it's going to cost just as much as a Sony pad!

They may look the same, feel the same and almost work the same, but there are a few little things you should know about this rebel of the Playstation world you know about before purchasing:

The vibrate function is more of a lonely rattle, echoing deep inside the controller.
The PSN button (The grey circle between select and start) has "PS" Printed on it rather than the Playstation logo.
The R2+L2 Buttons don't have the same feel as the official controller does, and are a little dodgy when using them to type.
It may look wireless but I'm afraid the only way you'll get this baby to work is when it's all wired up. A bit disappointing.

The good side to this is that apart from the things mentions above, it works perfectly. For just £[], it's a very good deal. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs an extra controller but isn't too bothered about the imperfections.
