Bought this for taking to the gym because I didn't fancy the usual shuffle type players that you see everyone else with. I didn't look at the dimensions in the description when I bought it so I was pleasantly surprised to find out how portable and light this player is.
It doesn't take more than a few minutes to work out how to use - extremely simple which is ideal for a technophobe like me.
It sounds absolutely fantastic and the quality of the earphones surprised me as I am used to getting crap for this sort of money.
Had a problem trying to work out how to get videos on to it but a 2 minute call to the seller sorted me out and I must thank them for their excellent service all round. I have MP3s, video and my photgraphs stored on it - in fact, I have got so much, I am thinking about upgrading to an 8gb version.

Bought this for my wife, as she wanted to be able to have something to listen to while walking home from work. Personally I've got a Creative Zen V plus, with Senheisser headphones. So that's my reference - iPods are OK but I've never been one for following the masses.
For the price, it's not a bad little mp3 player with fm tuner. However, it does have it's peculiarities that can only be found out by trial and error as there was no documentation at all with the player.
It took a while to get started, as it kept locking up during the initial charge. It doesn't hold the charge very long, so if you're planning to use it out and about, make sure you top up before you leave the house.
Once charged, it tuned onto radio stations OK and the pre-loaded mp3s played fine. The headphone socket is a 2.5mm jack, so I had to get a converter to allow me to attach better headphones than the ones supplied.
Windows XP & Vista both automatically detected the player as a storage device so no issues there.
So if you're a techie sort, you'll be able to use this just fine. If you want to just use it without having to think, you might want an iPod.

I bought this MP3 / MP4 player to replace one I got from a different source which had arrived in poor condition and set up for the wrong country. I was slightly worried I may have a repeat of any of those problems though my fears were groundless, it arrived in full secure packaging with correct and well described equipment in a very good time - given the ice and snow slowed the post service. The MP3 / MP4 player comes with the software to install on the computer and once installed it was very easy to put my songs on and quicker than any MP3 I have used before as well as easier than my sisters iPod as it doesn't require iTunes installing. I have yet to use the e-book, movie, photo and tel-book functions but the jokes (10 in the e-book section) were in a range of humour. The sample video's, pictures are clear for the size of screen and I look forward to putting my own photos and videos on it to have them with me where ever I go. The small size of the player makes it easy to carry every where for me and the head phones that come with it are better than any others that have come free with my MP3 players in the past.

very good
this mp4 player came the next day for some reason so that's good. putting music files on it is very easy. the earphones are good but you'll need a adapter to use any other type. Read more

bad deal
This product is plasticy and only has a 2.5mm head phone jack. I know it is cheap and in this case you do get what you pay for.
