I purchased the amber tea lights but was a little apprehensive beacuse I had previously bought the white tea lights and found them to be very white and not cosy but the amber ones are just like real tea lights, I need to get the batteries now for them as I have used them too much and are now getting dim. I will be buying more as Christmas presents.

i've got to admit, i was a little apprehensive about ordering these things. they were intended to spice up a night in a hotel room for me and my partner (obviously i wasn't going to risk using real candles!) - i hoped (at the very least) they'd provide a sort of warm glow around the room. i didn't think 12 would be enough, in fact, i thought that they'd be dim and not much good. needless to say, i was proven totally wrong. these little flameless tea lights are simply amazing. they flicker just like real tea lights do, and the amber colour provides a really natural looking glow. as for worrying i didn't have enough, 12 was just perfect to give a little extra oomph to our hotel stay :) a perfect product - so so glad i bought them! well worth the money. best of all, they are still running, so i'll be able to get even more use out of them!

I bought these LED tea lights to decorate the house for my daughter's birthday party next month. I love tea lights but they are out of the question with young children nearby, and even more so at a birthday party. I read many reviews for many different products (which look more or less the same on the screen) and hesitated for a while, but decided to go for these from PK Green in the end, which had a lot of similar positive reviews but seemed slightly less cheap than others. I am very pleased I did because the tea lights are exactly what I expected them to be: they are working (all of them), they have a reasonably realistic "flickering effect", even in daylight (though the less bright the surroundings, the better the effect-obviously!!), and warm glow (in the dark or even slightly "darkened" surroundings), they fit well in all my tea-light holders and give that lovely, serene "candle glow" (even in those "lantern" paper bags) I was after. And I must say they look cute in the palm of your hand!!! (for a plastic candle!).. The switch on each candle is easy to operate while being totally invisible (being at the bottom). Both the flame of the candle and its base are made of white plastic: the flame turns orange when switched on, while the base "glows" (a rather realistic 'amber glow' effect, just like a candle) when in a 'darker' environment as described above.
Dispatch and delivery were quick, although I was surprised to find such a small box inside: it was silly of me, they ARE tea lights after all! I imagine they will be very useful all year round, on various occasions, and prove quite popular with everyone.

Good Buy
Bought these for a school play and was very pleased with them. They look very effective onstage and were easy to operate. Would definitely buy more in the future.

Apart from being sent the colour changing variety I found these rather plasticky. Maybe the amber ones are more realistic - I wouldn't know.

I had ordered the Amber lights but received the colour changing set, there are nice but would have preferred the plain set. Was not worth the trouble sending them back.

safter than tealights
Am very impressed with these, easy to turn off and on and look good. With animals and children candles can be a worry. Will have to see how long the batteries last.
