Had this product for over 4 weeks now and been using it frequently.
Sturdy and well made wooden parts. The gates are a little flimsy but still do the job.
Kids play with it and we play it when we have a garden party.

What I had not realised when I ordered this croquet set is that it is far from a full-size set. It states on the short description that it is a "traditional croquet set for adults and childrens alike." If you are taller than about 5', you need to bend a long way to hit the ball as the mallet handles are only 2 feet long (61cm). The mallets, once assembled, are quite sturdy however.
The hoops are white plastic-coated wire (rectangular rather than semi-circular hoops) and are quite flimsy and easy to bend if you are trying to push them/bang them into dry ground.
Overall, quite good value for money but definitely more suitable for children.

I bought this for a summer BBQ. I was pleased because all of it was made out of wood. I was disappointed with the length of the hammers, I thought they would have been longer. Also the hoops are very flimsy. They could be a little more robust because if the balls hit them very hard they collapsed.
On the whole I was pleased. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Bag could be a little bigger and hoops more durable. Easy to put together. 5 year old got bored but 7 year old loved it - set the course and told us the rules.
