This item is probably the best armband you can get. Fits well, protects your phone from sweat & you can use the phone through the plastic screen cover easily. Handy pocket for cards, money & a key.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing fit, especially for slim/skinny folks 3 Jun. 2014

Being a thin person I have always encountered problems with purchasing the armband that fits on my upperarm without falling off. After reading the other reviews of this product I decided to give it a try, and the product is an amazing fit for me. Also lent it to a female running partner and she told me it fits perfectly, too!

The chamber for the phone is crafted specifically for the dimensions of iPhone 4/4S and iPod Touch 4G, and you will have to take your bumper case off if you want to slide your phone in. However, it is not a problem for me and I don't worry about the phone falling out, because it fits the phone snugly (and sometimes I even have problems getting it out, especially with sweaty hands).

The plastic screen is conductive and therefore you can still use your phone when it's in the armband, but at the price of reduced sensitivity — but it is still good for thumbing through your playlist, checking out your workout pace and etc. So far I have used it for a few 10–12km run and 30–40km bike rides, and NEVER had a problem with it.

The fabric is not waterproof though, so I would not recommend using it in wet weather. If you sweat an extraordinary amount then you should also be wary that your sweat might soak into the phone holder, as it is not waterproof.

You should also be aware that if you are a normal person who works out, or have a slightly thicker upper arm, you might want to explore other options. For a skinny person like me, it fits very well but I can see it being too tight for others.

2.0 out of 5 stars I think its me, not the armband... 16 Mar. 2014

I see other people using these things without any trouble - but I find it really annoying, difficult to use, difficult to get on and off...I wish I'd borrowed one before buying it...

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY! 25 May 2012
By Jessica - Published on Amazon.com

I have been looking for an armband to fit my small arm for ages. I've purchased a couple and ended up using them once and tossing them to the wayside because they never fit properly! I'm a 34 year old woman with relatively small, unmuscular arms so this has been a difficult challenge. FINALLY this one has fit the bill! It's neoprene so it's not really breathable so it does get warm under the band but my touch screen responds easily and I have a small case on my Iphone and it slides right into the case, with no problems. I do like the little slot in the back for small items. I use it for my house key since i generally check my mailbox on the way back from running. The cord can be tucked into the velcro strap area for control, that's what i do and it works well!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Armband For Your iPhone, But Be Careful If You Use a Screen Protector 12 July 2012
By Charles Carmichael - Published on Amazon.com

I wanted to start tracking my workouts with Nike+ on my iPhone, so I purchased five different armbands on Amazon to try them out. This was by far the best. The armband fits comfortably for me, I'm a guy but my arms are only about 9" around. It also stays in place even on long workouts. I've taken this on 9 mile runs without any problem. The armband doesn't really breathe though, and tends to absorb your sweat. Although I haven't tried using it with headphones yet, the open top design allows for easy access to the headphone jack. If you really sweat a lot, this may be a problem as sweat could enter the jack. The plastic screen protector works alright, responsiveness is okay, but I found myself having to tap the screen twice to complete an action. No one else has mentioned this, so this may actually be caused by the Invisible Shield screen protector on my iPhone, which brings me to my next point. Using this with a screen protector is a hassle. The plastic cover sticks to the screen, which makes it quite difficult to pull the phone out. Your best bet is to put a pen in over the iPhone to separate the screen from the Invisible Shield when removing your phone. Besides the issue with my Invisible Shield, I'm quite happy with this armband. I haven't used it long enough to see if the integrated pouch stretches after a while (as another reviewer mentioned), but with the included 1-year warranty, this shouldn't be a problem.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't use the card slot! 20 Sept. 2012
By OUiCandi - Published on Amazon.com
This is a great armband, I've been very happy with it, except the slot where you can put your cards. While running my cards, which poke out of that slot fell out and I lost my credit cards! Just put them behind your ipod or phone, the slot is a useless function.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too small, key pouch is a joke! 28 Jun. 2012
By jaimy_marie - Published on Amazon.com

The arm band on the S/M is ridiculously small! I'm a size 8 girl and it doesn't even fit around my bicep. I have to wear it on my forearm for it to work. Also, the "key and credit card pouch" in the back loosened up so much after a few uses that my keys slipped out on a run! Overall, if you're going to get it and weigh more than 120lbs, get the larger size. And, don't trust your valuables in the pouch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy and convenient 4 July 2012

I purchased this armband to run with, but I find myself walking with it as well because it has a pocket for keys and a credit card. It's perfect to take around the corner and keeps your phone safe (I am prone to dropping phones.) The circumference does seem to be small because I have it set on the loosest setting and it fits my arm, which I consider fairly small. If you are male, I'm not sure this would fit your upper arm. I'm easily able to control the iphone through the plastic protective cover and it fits in almost perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for a woman.
