Generally £55 goes a long way these days, not so with this product. My problem was not so much with the hardware (initially) but the software which is clunky and belongs in the WinXP era. The EPG is hard to navigate (I used my iPod to see whats on instead) and changing channels requires right clicking and clicking "channels" to bring up a list. (Unless you want to naviage w/ the remote, which takes forever)

Then after 2 weeks the software started hammering my hard drive, managed to remove then upon reinstallation the tuner hardware could no longer be detected, after several hours of messing around I decided to return.

Other than that the product does what it says, but its not an easy way to watch TV!

Doesn't pick up HDTV in the UK, also the supplied antenna doesn't work indoors in the UK (It is only supplied with an indoor antenna).
None of that really matters because most of the time when you plug it in to the usb slot the supplied software won't register that it is there. This problem occured on all the computers I tried to use ths with.
Very disappointing.

Verified Purchase
After two rubbish tv-sticks August DVB-T202 and Compro U80 which both did not work i bought this fine device. Installation was no problem on my slow laptop with xp and thanks to the extremly good support of pctv the tv-stick and the software pctv tvcenter 6.4 are working excellent.
This item is worth the money.

Despite the advertising on the packaging as being "HDTV ready" it won't actually work with HDTV in the UK as (according to the manufacturer) the UK uses the DVB-T2 standard which is unique in Europe and which this product (no any other PC tuner apparently) is designed to receive. The manufacturers say they will eventually release a DVB-T2 tuner but not for "several months". Other than that, this is a good product for standard definition terrestrial TV and it integrates nicely with Windows 7 Media Center. From my location (near London) it picked up 97 channels no problems when connected to an external aerial.
