This really is a must have for those with a projector that does 2.35:1 aspect and/or cropping as it really does make watching these films an absolute joy! Having recently purchased a Panny 4000 which has the benefit of auto lens memory and CinemaScope option, I thought I'd give this screen a go after seeing several favourable comments on AV Forums. I am sooooo glad I did as this is truly a winning combination!
The remote controlled motorised function works a treat and the tab tension system is a real bonus! Maybe the blacks could be a whisker darker - though this is more down to the Panny, which may need a little tweaking depending on your set up - but otherwise the results are superb and very reminiscent of what you see at the cinema! The dynamic range, shadow detail, colour fidelity and sense of depth are very impressive indeed! I should add that I work for the leading visual effects company in London and seeing the films I've worked on recently (such as Dark Knight, 2012, Greenzone, Sherlock Holmes and Inception) on this screen - using the Panasonic PTE 4000 and Blu ray or HDDVD through an Onkyo TX905 AV amp - they are not that far off from what I remember seeing on our pro monitors and a 25k projector! At [...] this is absolutely unbeatable value for money and, along with the usual excellent delivery and Amazon customer service, really is a no brainer!. Highly recommended!

Maybe its about time this screens rep was shown for what it really is...five times better than 1 star anyway. Anyone that knows a little about the hassle & cost of Home Cinema will understand that if this screen does what it's supposed to, can only mean theres a bargain with a capitol B to be had here. Yes, there are cost cuts in certain areas but in order to bring an electric tab-tensioned cinemascope screen to the market for less than £500.00, never mind £200.00, thats the way it goes. But be assured these cost cuts do not detract from the actual quality of the screen itself or the excellent performance, visually & mechanically. Its a well built screen to be sure, but not anything special to admire regarding actual looks. Mostly build quality is fine though.

The motor is about as noisy as any motor i've heard through owning three elec. projection screens, but perfectly acceptable & fairly smooth. The tab-tensioning works as its supposed to gently putting pressure on the actual tabs to keep the screen from turning in at the edges, while keeping it square & even. If the tensioning string becomes a little loose there are holes at each end to gently tighten the string with a small screwdriver to re-apply the right amount of pressure. The only really economic part of the screen that sticks out is the actual casing as it feels a little loose, but that becomes a moot point as soon as the screen is hung. If you are watching genuine 2.35:1 material it fits the screen very, very well, but for a little tiny bit wider at 2.40:1 you will have about an inch border which looks ok on this screen as it's 106"s diagonal anyway.

To get to the end the picture projected is sharp & colourful & if you can get it to your house or dedicated cinema room for less than £200.00 incl.

I bought this screen as it was the only reasonably priced 2.35:1 screen I could find, when I received the screen it was very obviose I had mad a huge mistake! The quality of the screen was appalling, the metal case was flimsy the screen it's self was made of a very poor meterial and as for the so called "Tab-Tensioned" it was not tensioned it was about as much use as buying a non Tab-Tensioned screen and hanging a couple of bits of thread down ether side. I sent the screen back the same day and to be fair to the company they refunded my money without any problems.

The only thing I would reccomend this screen for is if you wanted a remote controled blind!
