No previous knowledge of computer programming or computer concepts is assumed. This book is very clearly illustrated with helpful diagrams. The author does not write down to you but uses simple yet concise language to explain almost every little step.
For the beginner it is a dream of a book in that it explains as it illustrates. The ideas and examples are easy to follow and completely relevant to the topic being followed which helps the reader to understand what it is that they are trying to do with the program that they are attempting to design and implement.

This book taught me the finer points of pascal, propably the best book i've read on the subject. It really helped me with the programing side of my computing A-level. I would recomending it to anyone how wants to further their knowlage of turbo pascal.

I highly recommend this text book to students who wish to have a working knowledge of PASCAL programming. The programme examples are very useful and can they be quite useful in writing one's own programmes.
