Format:Audio CD
After the mighty and powerful Draconian times the boys from Halifax, stunned fans by moving further away from their death metal roots. This CD was easily my album of the year excellently creating a gloomy atmosphere to almost poetic lyrics. Highlights have to be say just words, Blood of another, and Disappear but in such a fine album its really difficult to pick a winner, and there are certainly no losers. Not an album to liven up a party or help the manically depressed, but for me just great music to relax to and consider life.

A far cry from their earlier albums, yet "One Second" is possibly one of Paradise Lost's best albums to date. Containing a powerful mixture of Goth rock tracks such as "Say Just Words" and "Blood of Another" combined with the more moody "Another Day" and the title track "One Second", this album is a demonstration of Paradise Lost's amazing ability to explore and produce several different strands of rock music-and explore them well and with feeling! Whether you know Paradise Lost or not, this is a must for any rock fan!

One of the best goth metal albums to grace the world. Every some is simply stunning thats the only way to describe such a deeply emotional triumph! Paradise Lost prove they are the band to beat jumping ahead of other goth metal outfits such as Type O Negative (who are amazing to!) One second can only be given one title amazing! simply amazing!
