Product Description
* Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% w/w in an aqueous gel. * For the treatment of acne PanOxyl Aquagel is used to treat acne. Benzoyl peroxide has an antibacterial and a peeling effect and makes your skin less greasy. Warning: PanOxyl Aquagel may not be right for some people. If you are, or think you might be, allergic to any of the ingredients in PanOxyl Aquagel, you should check with your doctor or pharmacist before you use PanOxyl Aquagel. Keep PanOxyl Aquagel away from your eyes and lips. Be careful not to use too much PanOxyl Aquagel on your neck or sensitive areas of skin. PanOxyl Aquagel can bleach coloured fabrics, including clothing, towels and bed linen. Be careful to avoid contact of PanOxyl Aquagel with these materials. As with all medicines, you should keep PanOxyl Aquagel out of the reach of children. PanOxyl Aquagel may cause slight stinging and make your skin feel warm, especially when it is first applied. You may also notice flaking and redness of your skin during the first few weeks of use. These effects are normal; if they bother you try using the product less often for a while, or stop for a few days then start again. If you suffer severe burning, peeling or itching, or other unwanted effects not mentioned in this leaflet, you should stop using PanOxyl Aquagel and contact your doctor or pharmacist. Caution: For External Use Only Keep out of the reach of children Store below 25ºC Avoid contact with the mouth, the eyes and other mucous membranes. Care should be taken when applying the product to the neck and other sensitive areas. Patients with a known sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide should not use this product. The product may bleach dyed fabrics

This product is fantastic, I can't praise it enough! My doctor recommended it to me for my acne, however he did state that you should only put the product on the actual spots not smear it all over your face as it really does dry your skin, which is what it's meant to do, it dries up the spot, thus getting rid of it very quickly. I have been using it for about 9 years now and still find it as good as ever. I found it to be most effective when your spot is in it's red painful stage, I put the product on and by the next day my spots have shrivelled! Also I frequently put it on under my make-up. It doesn't effect the look at all.

I would recommend this item for those who suffer from mild to moderate acne. The gel only needs to be applied to the spots and the surrounding skin for the spot to reduce. The skin does become irritated but after applying this gel for a week the spots will be gone after which you need to give the skin time to heal which will normally take upto 1 week. Overall to get rid of spots and to have nice clear skin the process takes two weeks depending on the severity of your acne. This product is perfect for mild to moderate acne. You will be acne free after two weeks. For any redness on the skin I would recommend sudocreme cream which will help the skin heal much faster once the spots have gone or savlon healing cream.

This cream works.! I have suffered from acne on,and off since my teens.I used it, and my face the next morning was very red and inflamed looking. However I persisted and the second morning looked in the mirror and was faced with an image of redness and ooozing cr*p from the zits.Third morning the same but I could actually see that no more zits were developing and some of the original ones were shrinking.
The fourth night I did not use any, as I thought enough change was taking place and the redness was a tad alarming. However the next morning I could definately see a huge change in the way my dreaded zits were looking.
Now my face is calming down and I can see that all the dead and useless cr*p that is supposed to be the top layer of skin is going, and fresh new skin is able to make itself known and without any zits!
I love this cream. I am feeling much better within myself psychologically and obviously physically. I have planned to carry on using this cream on my zits and when all zits have gone, maybe use it once a week or so depending on results.
The one thing I would say is treat with caution but do persevere with it. You may want to hide away for a few days while it does its thing on you.... but the results are well worth it !

Alright
