The non-stick wore off our original paddle ages ago which started giving us problems getting the bread out.

The non stick surface does not seem to work as well as the original did when we first purchased the breadmaker.

The Panasonic has been the best on the market for over 10 years but, with daily use (it has NEVER failed to deliver)the paddle has had to be changed 3 times because it lost it's 'slip'. This is a very good paddle but, moulded in a single piece like it is, and compared with other, far more complicated products at lesser price, the makers are taking the **** by pricing it so high.

Arrived promptly. Now my baked loaves drop cleanly out of the tin. I should have replaced the paddle ages ago!

OK, but not cheap
