Whilst these hangers do "hang flat against a wall or door" the hooks do, of course, protrude and I hadn't foreseen that. I had put them on the inside of my wardrobe door and they prevented it closing. When hung inside the wardrobe on the rail, they take up quite a bit of room because of the hooks (which get caught on the adjacent clothes), and have to be taken out to view the contents. So, not quite what I wanted.

Easy to use, simple to put up - 'nuff said. Though you do have to balance out your ties (can't put them all one side or the hanger tilts over!)
These hangers are really handy. I use them on the back of my door for my necklaces & belts. As it hangs in the middle you need to balance it with weight on both sides otherwise it will lob-side. Other than that, they are great and has helped me to organise my items.

Useful Hangers
Have used them to hang belts tidily, taking up less space, and also to hang longer necklaces. They have to be loaded evenly or they tip but this isn't hard to do. Read more

lots of uses!
I use mine to hang necklaces, bracelets and belts - balancing both sides of the hanger - very useful item.
