DVD Description
James D’Arcy (Master and Commander), Joe Absolom (EastEnders, Servants) and Patrick Baladi (The Office) star in this acclaimed ITV series which was inspired by true stories. It is Germany 1940 and Flight Sergeant James Caddon is captured when his plane is shot down on a bombing raid. He is taken to the P.O.W. camp Stalag 39, where he discovers a daring escape is already being planned.

P.O.W is one of the best drama series' to be shown on British television in 2003 in my opinion. The storyline for the series was brilliant and it kept you on the edge of your seat through the whole episode. If you like POW films this is the series for you. The cast are great with actors such as Joe Absolum (Eastenders) and James D'Arcy (Master & Commander). This truly is a masterpiece and the DVD gives you lots more extras than what was on TV. A Great Series!

I enjoyed this mini series very much. the actors, acting and stories were really good....was quite surprised!
There was suspense, laughter, joy, sadness, love and relief all in this.
I reccommend this to all war film fans.

Great WW2 action drama about a group of British soldiers and their officer, who are being held in a prison camp by the Germans. Hardship and the will to escape introduces a bond between the men emerges as the yearn for freedom grows.
