I bought this back in 2007 and pleased to say its still going strong, even still using original nicad batteries. The Motion sensor can take a while to set up, but once done its very accurate and reliable. The nine LEDS aren't fantastically bright when compared to a 500W FLOOD light, but its useful for those areas outside the house where you just need a light at night to see where you are going. I have now changed the original nicad batteries for higher capacity ones, and the LEDS are now a little brighter then before. Over the long term this is a cost effective way to provide a light source using solar energy. I recommend it.
