Format:DVD
The Ozric Tentacles have evolved over a 20 year period into a band like 'no other' on the Planet. You can call it Space Rock,dance,Psychedelic,trippy,trance,celtic,ethnic,reggae or prog. Actually, you can call it whatever you like, but for me it hasn't really got a name but 'Magic' always comes into my mind??
An Ozric Tentacles live performance are transcentent experiences between the band (ed,Jon,Seaweed & Zia) & the audience. The Pongmasters Ball Live DVD lets you experience the magic of an Ozric Tentacles concert for the first time. Although Many hardcore fans may have seen video footage of the band in the early 90's (i.e Live at Brixton) this is different class. Not only is it in 5.1 format but there is a special 40 minute behind the scenes documentary that has 'amusing'interviews between the band members the crew & fans, also the pre-gig warm-up practice sessions.
The live gig itself was special for all Ozric fans old and new, i should know cause i was there!!!. It was the last gig of a 13 date European tour & because it was in 'London' the band were very 'up for it' and gave a souring performance. The visuals & sound were the best i have ever witnessed and this is all captured on the DVD for you to see. The set list is a mixture between old & new material however, even the old stuff sounds new via new instruments, synths and playing techniques etc...
If you havent heard any Ozric music before i promise you will not be disapointed with buying this DVD. Trust me!!!!!

I own this DVD and I'm satisfied, but I have only a remark about the "out-of-sync" between audio and video in some scenes.
I hope about a new DVD as soon as possible.
