My childhood scooter was homemade and was my favourite toy-good for carrying bags of coal.I bought the Nebulus for my Granddaughter.After scooting up and down our hallway I have decided to adopt it and get her a replacement.Then we can scoot together in the future.I am only a few pounds over weight!!!Do you think I might be overdoing it at the age of 70?
The scooter is well made and quickly foldable so I can collapse it and stick it behind me if anyone thinks I have lost my marbles.Not so sure about the helmet and kneepads though!!!

This is a bargain at £10.
I chose to get a scooter for my 5 year old, because he is no longer confident on his bike (with stabilisers)after a couple of falls. Someone told me that a two wheel scooter is a great way for children to gain confidence in their balance. Unlike a bike, it is so much easier for them to skip off when they lose balance, that they are unlikely to have falls.
From my point of view, the scooter is also much better than his bike because it is so small and lightweight. Not only could you carry it one hand, but it easily folds up (without the need for tools), and I hook mine over the back of my baby's pushchair. You can literally 'take it anywhere'.
I have also tried out the scooter myself, and it is great fun. The handles extend for taller people to use them (again - without the need for tools)- so your child can continue using it as he grows.
Long term, I would love to see my boy ride a bike, but for now, this is a good alternative, and at £10 you can't really find anything to complain about.

My son already had a scooter but it was too big and cumbersome for him, this micro scooter is perfect, he gets around on it so much quicker. For the price, you will not beat this scooter!

son hurts him self

There should be a british standard for scooters that this would not...
