I bought this, along with the Illustrated dictionary, for my child who is in year two. Previously, if we ever needed to look up the definition for a word we would use the internet. This is a much better way for him to learn. Searching for words alphabetically and seeing it written down on paper has done him the world of good. Now he loves flicking through his dictionary/thesaurus to search for more interesting words to use. This dictionary is very clear and very easy to use. Thumbs up.

I bought this with the dictionary for my 7 year old and it's fabulous. We use this and the dictionary when doing homework/writing and the format is definitely geared for a childs use. Value for money and a must have. The books will last and get used frequently - so glad I bought them.
