Good dictionary 7 Oct 2011
By Kam N
Format:Paperback
Well, it's basically a standard dictionary, but it contains a grammar part and other practical information in regards to the German language and culture. I can recommend this to anyone who are concerned with a good balance between the size and the content of a dictionary.

By far the best dictionary for languages that I have come across. Have the French and Spanish version of this particular one and made studying so much eaasier and fun. Has a word games section in the middle in German so helps you think

As a oomplete beginner to the German language - its quite fun after Russian - it just had the words I wanted to know about and in clear print! I have no idea what words are missed out or where it might pose semantic doubts. When I can get beyond Lesson 5 of Teach Yourself German, I might be able to contribute more intelligently, but then again probably not.
