I bought this glove as I wanted a 'winter' glove but one that wasn't stiff and restrictive. The glove was under £20 and the Oxford Bone Dry brand was one that had good reviews.
When the gloves arrived, I was very impressed with the suppleness and fit (no extra length in the fingers etc) they are very comfortable and far more like a summer glove in fit. I use my bike to get to and from work and (to be honest) only usually in dry weather. I'd ridden about 10 - 15 times and about 80 - 100 miles when I had to return the gloves. The coating on the leather in the fingers and palm had worn away leaving a yellowy surface and the material between the 1st and 2nd finger of the left hand had split. I also found that, in the mornings in the cooler weather, the gloves didn't offer much in the way of insulation and my hands got quite cold (I am not someone who feels the cold very much so this was suprising).
I recontacted Nightingales who provided the item and asked if they had had any other problems with the gloves and explained the problems. They were very quick to respond and stated that they hadn't heard any other issues and offered an immediate replacement, refund or to replace it with a different (slightly more expensive) glove. I returned the gloves but unfortunately have had to chase them up a bit for the replacement, as the whole return thing got a bit vague. I returned the gloves 2 weeks ago and still haven't got the replacements, so that's a bit disappointing.
In short, the feel of the gloves were great, I wouldn't exactly say they're 'winter' gloves as they're nowhere near warm enough. I hope the ones I had were just a bad pair and the replacements will live up to the expectations.

If you're looking for a glove that only lasts two weeks before they fall apart and you're not worried about your hands getting wet when it rains, then these are the gloves for you.

I bought these as 'cheap' gloves to get me going, knowing that usually you will only get as much or as little as you pay for.
The first time that I wore them (a week after purchase) was while doing my CBT last Sunday.
I rained from 10.45 am and by 12.45 (the lunch break), i.e., only 2 hours later, the gloves were saturated with water.
Having taken them off ('wet'):
- The innner (liner) at fingers had come away/out and was difficult to push back into place.
- On wringing them (squeeze and twist) about half a cup of water that had been absorbed ran out.
- My hands were damp and cold.
Having out them back on (dry hands into very 'damp' gloves):
- As one might expect the cooling effect of damp/wet gloves on my fingers was not pleasant.
Good points:
- Reasonably good and comfortable fit. ('Large' size, on my hands which are 9.5cm)
- Reasonable grip at palm area.
- Integral 'Visor wipe' (felt strip on forefingers) works reasonably well.
Summary:
NOT recommended, except perhaps as a spare pair, or for 'Summer'/Dry weather use only.
Comment:
The manufacturers packaging says "Essential Waterproof Gloves", "100% WATERPROOF" and "Another quality product from the OXFORD range of accessories", which, in my opinion, is meaningless at best and misleading at worst!
(In fact I've just noticed their phone number and may well have a word with them.)

Bone dry! Really!
Fist time out through fairly persistent but light rain (trip of 2hrs on the motorway)and the gloves were soaked through! Not very impressed with the gloves given the name!
