I bought this item along with many other recent products for a trip to France recently. This was easily trimmed down to be placed over the paint work and seat of my Yamaha R6 and protected it from the nylon panniers and velcro straps. It could be used for most things but I can only comment on what I've used it.
The size could be improved for the price you pay, as when it is cut in half it will only cover the rear pillion seat and wrap underneath the seat cowl. Still, it worked so 5 stars.

THis blanket does exactly what it says, and does it perfectly. More than large enough to cover to cover both the pillion seat and hangs down far enough to protect the tailpiece but not touch the exhausts.
