NOT AS ENLIGHTENING AS I HOPED, 5 Aug 2010

Unfortunately this book was a big let down for me. I was looking for a book more focused on the operation and employment of tactical visible lights and lasers as well as tactics, techniques and procedures on low-light/no light gunfighting. This book covers some of the topics as an "incidentally" in a broad stroke of a brush detail. While the majority of the book (85-95%) focuses more on the hardware, reading like a catalogue for tactical lights, which leads me to be suspect to the authors and publishers endorsement to various listed items. Overall the book is not bad if you are looking into purchasing a tactical light or laser and have no experience or knowledge on what to purchase. But if you are looking for tactics on low-light/no light gunfighting look elsewhere, like Andy Stanford's book "Fight At Night: Tools, Techniques, Tactics, And Training For Combat In Low Light And Darkness" which is much better book for this subject.
