Easy read, nothing deep. 2 Mar 2013

I realize that this is the biography of a sports athlete, so expecting something deep and thought provoking isn't likely. But that said, among sports star biographies that I've read, including numerous football, American football, and basketball stars; I would definitely suggest autobiographies. This book gives an extended "wikipedia" version of Owen Hargreaves life. You learn about his childhood through career, but nothing about his actual thoughts and reflections about his life. This book also contains quite a few typos. I think had rushed publication after he won the Champions League and English Player of the Year. I would suggest the Giggs, Keane, and Scholes autobiography to any Man Utd fan.
