Bought it this week from Amazon. Glass shelf was smashed though in transit. Informed Amazon by email at 4pm on Friday and received a perfect replacement the next day! No other retailer could match that level of service.
The red Ovid stand itself is lovely, if a bit small and low. The Sky HD box looks great on it with a PS3 sitting snugly below. It makes the Sony KDL40W4500 look smaller, but that is no bad thing. Assembly took about 30 seconds: pop on four legs and insert the glass shelf. Great product, amazing Amazon

Solid, Modern and Cool,

I won't blabber too much because this is after all, just a TV stand. What I will say is this.
The colour is perfect (avoid white fr obvious reasons) and I doubt black does it any justice. The whole thing weighs a lot more than you would think but this is because the build quality is superb. The glossy red is beautiful and the glass shelf is about 1/2 inch thick and again, well cut and perfectly made. The stunted legs just screw on and you're ready. The stand is also one hollowed form so no fiddling about with feeding wires through tiny gaps in the back and it is sooooo much niceer than anything else on the market. Everything I shopped around for was black, square and soul-destroying to contemplate purchasing. The price is reasonable too and my 42" TV is perfectly flush with its width (I was concerned it would turn up too small). Be warned though, when you buy this most of you will feel the urge to seriusly modernize your entire living room!

We purchased ours through amazon at beginning of 2010. It arrived promptly and very well packaged and padded.(i was a bit wary as had read reports on ones that had arrived broken!).
The red one looks fantastic, although it is not every ones choice. I have it in my lounge which is a mixture of old fashioned and modern furniture and it blends well. I think nowadays you can mix whatever, you can hardly have a antique piece of furniture with a 42 inch tv on! It appears well manufactured, strong, easy to assemble, but overall looks classy. Also amazon was by far the cheapest at the time.
