After reading and really enjoying Fat, Forty & Fired (FFF) I was keen to read this second installment from Nigel. However, this book just doesn't quite work. FFF has a clear purpose and is really interesting whereas this book just seems to be written for the sake of it. The tone is very condesending, the chapters are disjointed (its like a list of topics has been ticked off each chapter) and reading this I actually just think he sounds like a know-it-all, egotistical man suffering from severe short man syndrome.
The book has no clear direction, purpose or story- its just a series of thoughts and beliefs from the author's head onto paper, and lets be honest- its not that interesting. I managed to drag myself through to the end but don't recommend that other readers bother.
