this book improved me soon after reading the first half. Of course, I am reading all of it, and I am underlining striking points (as I always do when I read a book) so that I can review quickly without re-reading the whole book. I just loved the style of the author: very sober and for some reason, very convincing. I have heard audiobooks about procrastination from authors like Anthony Robbins, but they never sounded too convincing to me. Also, I note a marked difference between American motivators and British writers like Dryden. Let's face it, often all this motivational audiobook stuff is just pseudo-psychology mixed with some 'new age' stuff. They tell you how the Universe loves you, but they don't tell you what you can do from a RATIONAL point of view. Dryden does exactly that and this is the path I will follow for a long while at least, infact I decided to buy all the 'Overcoming' books written by this author (especially considering that you can find them for pennies). Some people said that found this book 'boring'. Well, try to read a psychology academic textbook and you'll be bored out of your skull. Dryden brings this information in a digestible way for the layman and gives clear instructions on what you can DO. This is not a book written for entertainment, but to solve insidious problems that hinders your potential, like procrastination. Highly recommended!
