Book Description

1 July 2011 Insatiable

The sequel to Meg Cabot’s bestselling paranormal romance with bite - Insatiable

Meena Harper has bitten off more than she can chew . . .

Meena has a special gift, but only now does anyone appreciate it. Her ability to predict how everyone she meets will die has impressed the Palatine Guard—a powerful secret demon-hunting unit of the Vatican—and they’ve hired her to work at their new branch in Lower Manhattan. Sure, Meena’s ex-boyfriend was Lucien Antonescu, son of Dracula. But that was before he (and their relationship) went up in flames, and now she’s sworn off vampires for good—even though she firmly believes that just because they’ve lost their souls, it doesn’t mean they can’t love.

Convincing her new partner, Über-demon-hunter Alaric Wulf, that vampires can be redeemed won’t be easy . . . especially when a deadly new threat arises, endangering not only the Palatine, but Meena’s friends and family as well. As she unravels the truth, Meena will find her loyalties tested, her true feelings laid bare . . . and temptations she never even imagined before nearly impossible to resist.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first 4 Feb 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Overbite continues thd story about Meena,Lucien,Alaric, the palitine guards and of course vampires!
the story was well written and the plot line good but somehow the story seemed to drag and just not make much sense in some points.
I found the characters, who I had so loved in the first book, to annoy me and seem weak.
I didnt like the romance thing with Alaric because that story line has been overplayed way too much and to be quite honest Luciens character was more mystrious and interesting.
But on the whole this book was quite a good read even though I did find myself skipping parts. I hope there will be another one after this to tir up loose ends and to hopefully show some closure about the love triangle thing that was going on (much to my distaste)

4.0 out of 5 stars not as good as the first 3 July 2013

It's a good book however the ending was a surprise and leaves the reader unsure if there will be another book depending on which pair in the love triangle you prefer but that's just my preference.

4.0 out of 5 stars Different but great!! 4 Sep 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
A very enjoyable book for teenagers and young adults. At first i did'nt realise there was a book written before this one so i ended up reading the second book in the series first. However, I did'nt have a problem with that, as it was easy to pick up and understand. A very different genre and type of book to what Meg Cabot usualy writes but altogether a great book :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars fantastic books. 7 July 2014
Love both of the books found it hard to put down as they both have so much drama, action and full of twist I didn't see coming But I must say overbite is a bit shorter than her other book and the ending could have been longer and not so rushed. Am now going to read more of her books at I feel she is a great writer.
