This is a very short guide to the world of outsourcing. It does not contain any in depth information, but it does allow the manager without much experience of the market to get an overview in just a short time. It glosses over the detail, but then that's the point of the book - to get you up to speed quickly and it does this well.

The book guides the reader from the early stages of outsourcing to Service Level Agreements Management and service delivery and support. Great little book by Chapman who's done a great job desrcibing the outsourcing lifecycle.

He is certainly going to be a strong reference in my Masters degree thesis for a framework I am developing for IT Outsourcing Management.

I would highly recommend this book.
