Bought two of these as have hot and cold taps outside in corner sheltered by two six foot walls away from wind. First night temp dropped to -3 in morning both taps froze, they are too small to cover the most important part the nozzle. Best advice turn taps off inside leave fully open outside. These are not fit for purpose.

Not very impressed. Barely goes round the tap and is not water tight, so water gets in and the jacket freezes! I could make a better one myself.

I purchased this item to enable me to use my outside tap without the need to stop the water at the mains during the winter months. Having had our first frost this year, the tap is working normally.

Easy to fit onto a standard outside tap and robustly made with good value for the price paid.However,I have not really had a very heavy frost yet to fully determine the quality.

useless item
This item is totally useless - it is far too small to properly fit over a normal size tap and the picture with the advert for it is very misleading. A waste of money !
