4.0 out of 5 stars expert opinion, 29 July 2000
By Joseph T. Masciotti - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Outdoor Lighting Pattern Book (Hardcover)
Read the editorial review thoroughly. This book is about large-scale public lighting such as streets, parks and parking lots. The title misled me but my wife, an architect, commandeered the book for her own reference library. I, of course, was looking for something more like Jan Moyer's "The Landscape Lighting Book".

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware home owners!, 1 Jan 2004
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Outdoor Lighting Pattern Book (Hardcover)
If I had been looking for a book on commercial residential lighting,(apartments), this would have been an excellent book. Single home lighting patterns are not included.

4.0 out of 5 stars Essential reference for larger projects, 13 Dec 2009
By toni p - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Outdoor Lighting Pattern Book (Hardcover)
I use this book extensively as a landscape architect for medium to large scale projects such as parking lots, parks, and streets. It is not a residential lighting book, although I do use the "patterns" shown here even at a small scale. My only complaint -- it is time for a new edition, incorporating LEDs and the advances in CFLs.
