More like a grill than a barbecue,

Great looking peice of kit with plenty of room for cooking but the food does not taste as good as a charcoal barbecue nor my old, now binned lava rock type barbecue. I think the problem is that most of the fat dripping out of the food, justs drips down into the bottom drip tray instead of being vapourised by hitting somthing hot. There are small metal sheets over the burners which do vapourise any fat which hit them but in my opinion they need to be bigger. An added disadvantage is that lots of fat drips out of the bottom of the unit and stains the patio.If I was doing it again, I would look more carefully at the size of the metal plates over the burners.

Easy to assemble and does a good job cooking steaks and burgers.Not a very exciting review but what more can you say.

Was pleasantly surprised when I received this item, and although it is not yet barbecue weather and have not used it I'm looking forward to the day. The cooking area is about the same size as the top of my home cooker so that will be useful when I have the family or friends over. I think it will by far exceed my expectations.
