This BBQ has definitely lived up to my expectations. It is of excellent quality and is just the right size if you are cooking for a larger family. It does need 2 people to assemble it though as a couple of bits are a bit tricky for one person. The assembly instructions though are very clear and it took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble.
My only gripe though was that I had to buy a different gas regulator. The BBQ did come with a regulator but we hadn't checked which gas it was for. We had a butane gas canister but the regulator that came, was for propane gas. The BBQ runs on either gas - but check your regulator before buying the gas!
Overall though an excellent purchase.

I had been looking for a gas barbecue for several weeks in garden centres and D.I.Y shops. Obviously the more you pay the better the product with some larger than my kitchen and costing nearly as much! This model seemed to be the best compromise between quality/size/price and came with regulator and cover at a good price. I have not been disappointed. It was a bit difficult for me to assemble but I am in a wheelchair and my wife has back issues. The instuctions were clear and helpful with good pictures and we just worked through slowly. It took four hours but this was due to our lack of mobility not the difficulty of understanding what to do. Then we had to find and buy the correct gas but the regulator was the correct one and the £30 bottle was easy to attach. This all having been completed we found cooking easy with excellent control. It was so much easier than our old charcoal model and cooked ribs and chicken to perfection. The 'lava rocks' heat up like charcoal and you do get a barbecue taste with added benefit of a side burner to keep barbecue sauce warm. Looking forward to a long hot summer and experimenting with differeent foods.

a traditional BBQ in a modern design,comes with a red regulator and runs on propane in the green patio calor gas bottle. You can use butane but will have to buy a blue regulator.My local shop let me swap my old butane cylinder for the new green one.
Rather a daunting flat pack with a lot of parts. Good instructions though, it took me a fiddly 4 hours to assemble on my own. Well worth the effort as it fired up at the first time of asking and results were excellent. At this price a worthwhile buy
