An excellent piece of equipment, delivered on time, once erected and tried out works very well. family then invited around for a barbecue on the patio all our grandchildren were present, we all had a wonderful barbecue, Im now being asked when is our next barbecue the food was excellently cooked. providing you look after the outback if will last many years with a little TLC. Keep it clean after use, replace the tin foil and sand when required, keep out the rough weather keep it cover when not in use. treat the wood work once a year. as I said An excellent piece of equipment thanks Guys in making it happen.

Had one of these for 15 years, and it is still cooking. Excellent value and long lasting.Works out at £20 per year so far. With a average of two barbeque's a week (sometimes three). It pays to line the fat catcher tray with foil before lining it with sand as this helps cleaning it a lot easier.I use Penrock in my bbq.(They last a lot longer than normal lava rock).Have incinerated many a innocent sausage on non gas Bbq's I would not go back to them now.Highly recomend this product.HAPPY COOKING(or burning).

My criteria: I wanted a grill that would, most of the time, cater for 1-2 people. I also wanted to be able to cook for a larger amount of people, in the event of having guests or a party for example.

I quickly decided that the cheap special offers in local stores weren't worth the money - I've had cheap charcoal-based grills before, and they're often only good for one season, as the steel is so thin they burn and/or rust through very quickly indeed.

The Outback Hunter also has a hood so roasting as well as grilling is an option. A griddle means I can also cook small items that would normally fall through the bars, and I can even fry eggs if I wish. Great if I decide to have breakfast in the back yard.

It was easy to put together, and I had my first rib-eye cooking on it about an hour after it was delivered.

I would definitely recommended this product.

I owned one of these barbecues for about 7 years. It was brilliant. I replaced it from flamingbarbecue.co.uk and it's nowhere near as good. The build quality was poor, one of the knobs fell off and the other looks as though it could at anytime. It was pictured with three equally sized grills and that's what I wanted. It came with three different sized ones - the griddle plate being ridiculously small, you would find it hard to fry two eggs on. I used the larger version for fajitas and the like and it was great for that.
Finally, the model doesn't come with lava brick. It used to. I'm sure it'd do a job for folk, but I'm certainly not happy with it and it's going back, and when calling the 'customer service' they were very rude.
