21st Century Rock 'n Roll,

Linda Gail Lewis has an apt title for "Out Of The Shadows" she is Jerry Lee's little sister ! The songwriting & pick of songs is superb & the Cd has an enhanced DVD of "I'd rather stay home & Rock 'n Rock" which is fantastic fun. The record was recorded in Nashville & includes her distinctive piano playing as well as guitar, horns & sax. hitlights inc the above mentioned song as well as "Baby, i'm in Love" & Hank Wangford's "Never Wear Mascara (When you Love a Married Man)

Given the right exposure and radio play, this album would surely be a huge hit.Linda Gail isn't just 'Jerry Lee's' little sister, she is a very talented artist in her own right, and this album has got to be an essential purchase for anyone wanting to hear her. This album has Rock 'N' roll, country, pop, rock - you name it, but throughout Linda's powerful voice and talent on the piano will have you hooked. Stand out tracks include 'What a Beautiful day' and 'Never wear mascara'. You won't get better value for money than this - 18 tracks and a previously unreleased video.

Classic Country, + Some Boogie Woogie & Rock & Roll = One Great CD by Linda Gail Lewis!!!,

This CD contains some great, "classic", country, some hybrids that are a mix of country & rock, and some pure "boogie-woogie", Rock & Roll. Many of these songs were written by Linda Gail, herself. Linda Gail, is from my home state of Louisiana. I've been to the Lewis home in Ferriday, serveral time, and I've gotten to be friends with her sister Frankie Jean & her daughter Jerry. I bought my CD of this at the Lewis home, which is now a museum, operated by Frankie Jean. Linda Gail even mentions this, in the last page of her liner notes: She "dedicates this cd to her sister Frankie Jean Lewis Terrell....& for preserving the Lewis family memorobilia, ....at the Lewis Family Museum in Ferriday".
Now the CD, since the amazon product description does not mention the total song set, then I will. The Songs are as follows: 1.The Sweetest Love 2.Love So Real 3.Relentless w/Jeff Bates 4.Here and Ever After 5.Dark End of the Street (This song has been recorded by Gregg Allman & the late/great Gram Parsons w/the Flying Burrito Brothers, it's a "classic".) 6.Baby, I'm in Love 7.Out of the Shawdows 8.Treat Me Like a Lady 9.This long & lonely night 10.What a Beautiful Day 11.Everything I Need 12.Dancin' Round & Round 13.More or Les 14.I'd rather stay home and rock & roll (Boogie Woogie Rock & Roll) 15.Have I told you lately (that I love you) 16.Never Wear Mascara (When you love a married man) This is a good solid CD, and I highly recommend it. This is an excellent CD. Too bad it was not found in the stores, and was an export. Linda shows that she is an excellent musician. I would certainly recomment this CD .
