Having spent much of his recent touring as a solo artist, Rick returns to where he excells best - in a rock band. What is most pleasing about this album is not just Rick's superb keyboard playing throughout but the addition of a guitarist who adds so much rock to the sound and a vocalist who is quite simply on another planet from those Rick has used in the past, possessing both range and power to classics like 'Starship Trooper' and 'No Earthly Connection'. There is so much to enjoy about this album that it is difficult to highlight specific tracks but in addition to the aforementioned I would have to single out 'Buried Alive' from the overlooked 'Return to the Centre of the Earth' and 'Jane Seymour', complete with church organ sound and sounding as good as ever. Forget a Yes reunion and enjoy this album.
